Breastfeeding and birth control?

Anyone breastfeeding and on birth control? If so what are you on...if you're breastfeeding do you think it is necessary to be on bc? I was told ur less likely to get preggo while breastfeeding.. I have my first gyn appt tom and really don't wanna get preggo anytime soon. Any advice?!

I have the Nexplanon and I'm breastfeeding, my daughter is just over 4 months old and it hasn't affected my supply at all. Breastfeeding is NOT a form of birth control, you can definitely get pregnant while breastfeeding!

It is a myth that it's difficult to get pregnant while breastfeeding.

I'm on the mini pill and breastfeeding. Breastfeeding can delay ovulation for some people but it is not birth control. Plus you will ovulate before your first period so you could get pregnant. If you really don't want to get pregnant you will need to use protection.
