Losing weight!!!! Advice needed.

Well I could add a picture but I'm to self conscious. Anyways I'm looking to lose weight and I'm trying to figure out ways to lose it. I can exercise much do to my busy schedule but I am on my feet at work moving around so I guess that counts. I'm one of them girls who has been over weight all my life. And I decided to try the Walmart brand shakes the losing weight kind and I'm really hoping they work. I used to be 258 and now I am 234. And that's basically huge for me since my thyroid problems, being diabetic and PCOS haven't been kind to me in other words. And I know it's bad but I only eat once a day with small snacking. But here's my question!!! How did you lose weight? I'm looking for advice and ways that could help me. Here's me right now. I never take pics of full body because I'm ashamed of how big I've gotten. And it depresses me.
