The waiting period?

I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks, next one probably won't be until 16-20 weeks. How will I know everything is going okay?! At what week can a doctor hear the heartbeat through a doppler? Thanks ☺

Around 10-11 weeks is when they start listening with the Doppler. The first trimester is scary sometimes because you don't "feel" the baby (maybe just symptoms) but once you start getting bigger, you won't be as anxious!! Try to enjoy it, soon enough you'll have your sweet baby in your arms ❤️

Your Ob will be checking the heart beat at every appt. I remember with my first they couldn't hear the heart beat at one of my early ultrasounds so they pulled out their in house ultrasound. Don't worry your Ob will want to make sure everything is going well too!

Check places in your area that do ultrasounds. I live in Northern California and there's this place called The Baby Connection that can do gender ultrasound at 13 weeks. It's $50 for it and you get a gift and a recording of it
