Emmerson, too masculine?

I love the name Emmerson Grace, for a girl but have been told that Emmerson is either too masculine or confusing as it's very unisex.
Would love to hear your opinions please

I love Emmerson for a girl! Although, I'd spell it either Emerson or Emersyn. To me, a "y" makes a name look more feminine. Emmy could definitely be a nickname. Overall, I think it's a great name not too masculine. 
(My daughter is Casen. I like "boy" names for girls)

With my son, if he was a girl, he was going to be Emerson Grace. We revived the name again but are having another boy! We both love the name. We got some negative feedback, but I find that's common with names that are a tiny bit unique. My name is Ricki, which is commonly a boy's name, and I've always loved that about it.

I love it, maybe if people feel it's too masculine do a different type of spelling for it? We are also going to use a unisex name for if we have a girl that people use more for boys so I know how you feel.

A friend named her daughter this she is like three now and out of this world beautiful but I still don't like the name!! It simply is too masculine and that is coming from someone who likes Shane for a girl.
