When to announce to immediate family you're pregnant?

They recommend waiting 12wks to make the announcement because miscarriages are most common in the first trimester.

But let's be honest... The second I get a positive my mom will be the first person I call 😜

We told our moms and hisbsister right away, due to a miscarriage in February, we wanted the little support group and prayers going for a sticky bean. Just got my faint bfp yesterday. :)

I told my parents and brother when we find out just because my bro and I are always rough playing and he sits on me lol so i had to tell them.

Found out i was pregnant at 4weeks and 4days so we only told a few close family members.....this weekend I believe will make 5 weeks for me

We told right away for first. Ended in mmc at 16 weeks. Next bfp we told right away again for the support. Lost it one week later. If I ever get another positive, I plan to not tell anyone until I've heard a heartbeat at least. Even then I won't feel safe. I'm sure it will be hard to not share the news, but that's just my experience. Statistically, you have nothing to worry about.
