Co sleeping.

My son is 10 days old. I had an awful pregnancy and an equally awful delivery and am on bed rest. It's really difficult for me to take care of him on my own so as a result he sleeps in bed with us in a bathtub. I usually end up pulling him out of the bathtub to sleep with me because it's easier to breastfeed. My SO's co workers told him we shouldn't do that because he'll become dependent on sleeping with us and it will be a problem later on. I told him that it's me going to be a consistent thing and it's only until I'm off bed rest which is around 2-3 more weeks. Are his concerns justified? He naps in his crib by himself all the time.
