Allergy medicine?

Question

Have you all been told by Drs which allergy medicine they prefer when pregnant? My doctors office is closed and I am miserable right now.

I take Claritin daily. Regular not D. Benedryl is also on my list of okays.

I have been told to take Zyrtec. I asked about Allegra because that is my brand of choice but the nurse in my OB's office said no.

Allegra is a safe med on my doctors list too.  I agree with Benadryl and regular Claritin being safe.

Allegra has been my Godsend. Just getting off it now that the main pollen triggers here are subsiding.

I've have had the worse allergies since I been pregnant. Coughing, sneezing, coughing so much that makes me throw up. My ribs are starting to hurt. Finally, I've decided to take some meds, at first I refused to take any meds but I can't do it any more. This is what I just started taking every night before bed. My Dr also told me I could also take Benadryl. Hope you feel better.
