I've heard of people's doctors and midwives recommending this after 35 weeks. I've heard poking a hole in one of the gel tablets and inserting it into your vagina helps to soften your cervix. I've also heard just taking them orally helps. They aren't suppose to induce labor or anything, just help your cervix prepare for dilation.

It didn't do anything for me. The only thing that worked was pumping for an hr at 40 weeks. I was in the hospital in labor about 5 hours afterwards.

Yes I used this with my son I was 40 + 2. I inserted them and let them dissolve around my cervix, they help loosen your mucus plug which helps bring on labor. it worked for me. But everyone is different, I'm planning on using these again if I go over. People use castor oil and that can be so dangerous. X
