How many? What kind?

Question

How many pieces of clothing and what kind of clothing (footy pjs, gowns, onesies, etc) are you packing for your baby for the hospital? I know a lot of people do the cute going home outfit thing but other than that what clothes should you pack?

I'm a first time mom and I'm just wondering about how many pieces of clothing they actually go through during the hospital stay! I've seen a few lists on Pinterest but they seem kind of long to me. Thanks!

I've packed, vests x2, sleepsuit x2, socks x2, blanket x2, hats x2, mittens x2, cardigan x2, also packed pack of baby wipes and unsure about how many nappies yet, packed four at the moment. In the middle of packing my things now😌

I just packed my baby's bag yesterday. I put 2 newborn outfits, and 2 three month outfits. One for warm weather, one for cold weather, I'm not sure the weather, it's random weather here in California. I also packed beanies, socks, mittens and few blankets. Lastly I packed a grooming kit in case we need to trim her nails and brush her hair, apparently she's got tons of hair. I've yet to pack my own hospital bag, I figured it's less important.

I just have 2 newborn outfits and 2 3mo ones. Premie diapers (in case he's super skinny and can fit newborn), and that's it!

I packed 4 sleepers and his going home outfit. I originally only had 2 but then thought I should add a couple more because babies go through lots of clothes sometimes! I have no idea if 4 is enough or too many.
