Bright red blood after sex?? (May be TMI)

So me and my bf just finished having sex and i went to the bathroom after and theres bright red blood coming out of my vagina. It felt like he had cut my outer labia while fingering me but it's definitely coming from inside. Im on the Nexplanon implant. Help ??? Im freaking out right now

You probably weren't lubricated enough and you may have tore the inside of your vagina. Use gentle soap, baby soap even, and wash around the outside of your vagina. Put on some cotton underwear and an unscented panty liner. If you continue to bleed heavily, or into tomorrow, take a trip to the doctor or the er. It happened to me once getting fingered really roughly, and I ended up with a kidney infection because I did not take care of it properly, being too afriad to speak up. Be safe and good luck! I had this happen once and freaked out. The Dr told me I might have had a cyst (totally normal) that ruptured during sex. Again, all totally normal. Unless it keeps happening, I wouldn't freak out.
