What do you think?

So I was seeing a guy for about 5 months and I did really like him. Long story short I'd been going through a bad time and he's one of those guys that doesn't shower you with attention and so another guy was messaging me but it wasn't anything but harmless flirting. One night I was absolutely drunk and this guy kissed me. The guy I was seeing found out and was fuming of course. Didn't want anything to do with me etc. Now he's talking to me everyday and says he still cares and wants my friendship and there's a possibility of me coming around to his house again. I know what I did was wrong but it's made me realise how much I like him and how much I want him in my life. Surely if he's talking to me and is gonna invite me over the house we could build on our friendship and be together again?? No judgements please just advice
