I want him to chase me

I want my long distance relationship boyfriend to actually chase after me. I text him everyday and he doesn't text me back all the time and it's stressful. I even send him text through snapchat and he just opens them and ignores them. It's very stressful. Do you guys think I come off too strong? And how can I get him to want me and to stop thinking he can have me when ever he wants? Please help?
