Advice that has nothing to do with relationships

Okay so I currently work at a job that pays 8.50/hr as a hotel receptionist, no matter how much I am comfortable with my job it simply just doesn't cut it. I recently got hired at TWC making 11.5/hr & full benefits including health insurance, free internet&cable and 401K. I don't start until June 17, should I tell my current employer now or wait til two weeks prior? I'm afraid that they will try to talk me into staying..
