Has anyone taken Metformin as a "Fertility drug" and worked? I have PCOS, have done many cycles of fertility with clomid/Letrozole and trigger shots followed by two IUIs that ended in two miscarriages back to back. Now my family doctor, not the fertility doctor, prescribed Metformin to help with my cycles (I'm 45 days late, but that's normal with PCOS) and she warned me that she's had patients who have gotten pregnant while on Metformin.
