Obama administration orders public schools to grant bathroom access to transgender students. What are your opinions, thoughts, and comments.

It's not like it changes anything since we already share bathrooms, this just helps prevent discrimination or bullies.

I support it. Most of us have probably shared a bathroom with a transgender before. They go in there to piss and shit, not to rape or assault people.

I understand both ends of the argument. It is sad how quick we assume that the absolute worst is going to happen if restrooms are co-ed. Certainly there will be some issues, kids just like adults can be pricks to other people, but that doesn't mean that everyone will be. So let's teach our children respect for others' life choices and privacy. We do not have to agree with their choice but we can still respect the person.

If everyone truly gave others respect and privacy in restrooms like we already should than there is no issue. If you have to go, go.

I mean if someone is actually a percert or a predictor they aren't going to look at a sign and go,"oh shit, it says girls, and can't claim I'm trans, guess I can't go in there and rape someone"
