Please help with any suggestions

So I'm almost 7 months post partum and it still hurts to have sex. My OB said its because I'm breastfeeding and I'm extremely dry down there because of it. She said to use lots of lube, which we do, but it just hurts. It hurts around the area where I was stiched up (I had my daughter vaginally). Any suggestions or does it still hurt for anyone else ?
