Is it okay for your child to grab you a beer?

This isn't about me, personally. This is just something I saw on another site, and just wondered how you ladies feel about it?

Growing up I always got them for my mom. I'm 27 now and I only drink alcohol maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I didn't drink hers as a kid or anything and as an adult I don't like beer. I don't see any problems with me doing that as a kid.

No. Kids go more by what you do than what you say. My mother was a drinker and when she sent me to grab an open one, my curiousity got the best of me. It was gross and I never touched beer again but still, I wanted to know why she enjoyed it so much. The same when I saw both of my parents with cigarettes everyday. They left a small clip in the ash tray, I puffed on it. Good thing I didn't know how to light matches yet. Was really young, under 10 with both of these incidents

My parents(Well my dad because he drinks beer) NEVER let us grabbed beer for him or even touched it. Even though I'm 19 and I have older brothers that can legally drink, he still doesn't let us touch it!

I find it okay. My dad always told me to get him beer and I did. Never tried it when I was young and now there I'm older I have tried it and didn't like it, so I don't drink it period. My mom always told me do as told not do as I do. Best advice I've ever got as a child.
