How far along were you on your first ultrasound????

I'll be 5 weeks 4 days for my first dr appointment how many ladies were this early and saw something on their ultrasound? Or did they even get one that early? I want one done but I've been told by other people I know they won't do them that early... :/

Dr won't see me until I'm 8 weeks because 4 or 5 weeks in most cases is way to early to see much, let alone a heartbeat.

I went when I was 5 weeks and they did a transvaginal ultrasound and I saw my baby  and heart beat.

5w 5D saw baby and could see heart flickering but couldn't hear it yet

At my first appt they just did blood test and medical history, no ultrasound until 8 weeks because they can't see much before then.
