Advice for bloating after retrieval?

I was NOT prepared for the crazy bloating after my retrieval!! It has been 5 days post procedure and I am still huge and uncomfortable! And tips/tricks on battling the bloat? I've tried green tea and Gatorade so far, both help moderately

I think what I'd do differently is a day or two before ER, start taking Miralax (polyethylene glycol) because the bloating is 1000x worse if you need to have a BM. Idk maybe it's making more room for the swollen ovaries.

Id love the answer to this question. The nurse told me to take ibuprofen but when I got online it said NOT to take an NSAID. They recommended codeine but I know women trying to conceive want to stay away from narcotics. After about five days of constant nonstop abdominal pain, I thought I'd lose my mind and took a Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen).  That's the only thing that's allowed me to get up and function (work and take care of family). Anyway I really hope you feel better. I was told that it would clear up once AF shows up. You are not alone in your suffering but it won't last forever.
