For those of you who follow my story
I'm 24 years old, met my fiancé three years ago. He's 22 and a soldier in the US Army. I have a 5 year old son from a previous relationship. My fiancé and I decided that in January of 2015 that it was time to start trying to expand our family even though we weren't married yet. We got pregnant right away. Sadly, we miscarried the beginning of March shortly after we heard our babies heartbeat. As soon as we were given the go ahead to start trying again at the end of April, we did. We've been trying ever since. December of 2015 we decided to see my obgyn because my periods were very irregular. I was started on clomid in January 50mg. My 21 day progesterone was 0.1. Obviously I did not get pregnant this cycle. Used provera to jump start my period. At the end of February I started another cycle of clomid. This time 100mg. My 21 day progesterone this time was 0.5. Again, I did not get pregnant this cycle. Used provera to jump start my period again. In March I had an appointment with my obgyn and we sat and talked about PCOS. I then at the end of March had a transvaginal ultrasound and blood work done to confirm that I did indeed had PCOS. In April I started taking Metformin 1000mg a day. And got severely sick. I am now taking Metformin ER 500mg a day. Also at the end of April I took clomid again, this time 150mg. Just had my 21 day progesterone blood work this morning and just before the office closed, got a call that my progesterone levels were 9.9!!!! I am over the moon. Even if we didn't conceive this cycle, I feel like my fiancé and I are at least headed in the right direction finally! Hopefully this weekend we'll know for sure. Trying so hard not to cave in and test before then. Fingers crossed for a bfp this cycle.
