On Wednesday, my husband is having the sperm retrieval surgery done. He's had a semen analysis done twice and both times it came back with zero sperm. So this surgery will determine if we will have a chance to have a biological child.

Thinking about this appointment, I'm feeling really unprepared. I'm not prepared to hear the worst case scenario...to have our dreams shattered. The thought of it literally makes my stomach sick.

For any of you that have faced this, do you have any advice?? I'm so scared of receiving bad news :(
