Hotel

I'm 17, my boyfriend is 19. Our one year anniversary  is in September and we would like to start planning everything ahead. That's just how we are. Unfortunately I won't be 18 until January. My parents love and trust him, and are already okay with us having a hotel together for the weekend. But my question is, does anyone know the rules on that? It's in Ohio. Do you think they'd need to see both of our i.d.? Ask my age, if he's the one paying for it? Should I stay in the car while he pays, or go in with him? Please no mean comments! Just a little curious.
