How are you suppose to stimulate your nipples to induce labor??

I've rubbed my palm over them for over an hour and all out hand expressed milk for an hour and the next day for a half hour. I haven't gotten a single contraction. Am I just doing it wrong? Is there an effective way to do it? Do you need lotion or a type of lubricant? I'm just confused. I've never heard of it not even inducing contractions at all. I've always heard them coming and leaving but I can't even get one.

Try doing some squats! Both my mother in law and my step mother had their water break when squatting.

Pumping or sexual nipple stimulation. It doesn't necessarily work though. I've tried that, sex, pineapple juice, walking...your body has to be ready to go into labor. Even if medically induced, your body has to be ready for it to actually progress within an effective timeframe or else you're looking at a c-section.

I've been trying to induce since 37w5d, I'll be 40w Friday.

I got labor started with sex my husband finished inside me ten mins later contractions started 5 mins apart

Try pumping that helps but also squeezing your nipples help... Fresh pineapples as well
