Tri-Estarylla birth control?

Question

I'm 20 and have never been on BC. I've been getting bad acne recently and I've always had issues with bad periods so my doctor said we should give birth control a try.

I've been looking up reviews for Tri-Estarylla and they're all AWFUL. I'm scared to death to even pick up my prescription now.

Has anyone tried this before? Or can anybody recommend a better BC pill that I can ask my doctor about? I'm from the US.

I've been taking it for over 8 months now. I don't really have anything to compare it to since this has been my first control ever. The first few months, I'd say the first 3 months are the bad ones. I got nauseous (from 1-10 I'd say a 5) but my periods got regulated right after the 1st month on it, which was initially the main reason why I decided to get on BC. After the 3 months, everything has been great. No complaints here. Everyone is different so If I were you I'd give it a go, if you don't like the effects after 3-4 months then ask your doctor for another brand. Give it a try and then you'll have your own judgment. 
I was doubtful too, and like I said, I have no complaints whatsoever.

I use to take Tri-Sprintec and they helped with acne. They did have some side effects but nothing too crazy. M
