Blood pressure remedies

So my doctor is concerned about my blood pressure and is saying I might need to be put on medicine to keep it under control. My question is does anyone know of any natural remedies to keep blood pressure down, I don't want to be put on medicine again, with my first it made me so sick and the dr told me to just drink more water and it never helped. So any remedies or tips would be greatly appreciated.
