My husband doesn't want to have a bank account together. He says that he already has one and that he doesn't want to get one with me.

It all depends on the guy really. My husband doesn't mind sharing anything with me. Before we were even married we had joint bank accounts and he even had a decent amount of his inheritance money in the account. Maybe ask him why.

If you were gonna be mad you'd be mad! It's no big deal. Doesn't mean anything, he just wants his to stay his. I don't think I'd ever want a joint account

My boyfriend and I (we just don't want to get married) have discussed many times we would never want a joint account! We pay all our bills together, but we go half and half. We don't even have the same banks! I enjoy keeping my money just that, MY money.

If you're not mad, then you're not mad but personally: when I get married everything becomes ours because we chose each other, we will be one, and we will both put in work to support our household.

Don't be mad! My husband wants to share a bank account with me, but I won't do it. If you always have your own account you can better keep track of your finances anyway.

Well it depends are you filing taxes jointly or separately do you plan to buy a house  both of your credit becomes each other's problem when you get married so the sooner you guys figure out how your going to live the better but getting mad is not going to help you you should make a plan to meet a financial adviser so you can set real goals & maybe if your lucky achieve them but arguing over money sucks its deffinately an intamacy killer
