When can I test? Some people say the day I miss a period... Other people say 5 days before a missed period ?

For the most ACURATE RESULTS wait to see if u miss your period. If YOU DO, test the next day. 
Tests say u can test up to 5 days before u miss ur period..but reality is that u need to have enough HCG in ur system for a test to give a positive. And since all women are different, whose to say that YOU have enough HCG in ur system to get a positive result? Even if u were pregnant, sometimes u get a negative,  just cause u don't have enough HCG in ur system for a test to recognize. 
For best and most accurate results, wait to see IF u miss your period. if you do, test the next day

Personally I wait til AF is due or late just because I don't wanna buy more tests than I need
