You are most fertile the year after giving birth most drs say to wait at least 1 year or more to try again just to give your body time to heal after c secrion they say 18 months because the closer your pregnancies are the higher risk for conplications due to the fresh wound not every womena has complications though after miscarriage it depends some drs give the ok right away and some say wait a few cycles

My first two kids are 18 months apart. My first was a vaginal delivery and I had my Dr's blessing. I got pregnant the first month we tried at 9 months. My second was a C-section. My second and third are 3 years apart.
