Ok so I'm in the bit of a predicament. My fiancé is Jewish, I am not. I respect his religion 100%. We are currently pregnant with our first child. They do this ceremony with baby boys at 8 days old to have a rabbi of some sort come in and do the circumsicion at home. I am pretty sure they do not numb it either. I would rather a medical professional do it, as they do them more often and use numbing agents. I am really hoping for a girl to avoid this.... Am I wrong for being afraid and not wanting to do the Bris?
