Saw this on Facebook! What do you guys think? I say false because I think timing has a lot to do with it but then again there are some guys who this is probably true about.

When is everyone gonna learn that these things don't work because it doesn't apply to everyone? In some cases yes that's what it would mean but in others that's not the case at all. I happily and patiently waited 8 years for my ring and we've been perfectly happy the entire time. He's excited to marry me, we waited for the time to be right. Enough with the silly judgments, what works for one couple won't work for another so these random posts that generalize everyone's relationship are irrlevant!

I don't think that's true for everybody. there's lots of reasons people don't rush into marriage. my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years now and he tells me the only reason he hasn't proposed to be yet is because he says he doesn't have the money to get me the ring or wedding I deserve. (which I've told him plenty of times before I don't need anything real nice but he insists lol)
I also have an aunt...well great aunt...who was with her now husband for 20 years before they got married a few years ago.
