My little guys is 6 weeks old tomorrow and has been fighting a cold since Saturday. We went to get him checked by the Dr on Monday and he said to use saline, suction, and elevate his head at night. We have been using saline and suction but the congestion is high in his sinuses so at times nothing comes out when suctioned. We have tried to elevate his head but he is so wiggly he ends up moving to the side of his bed and sideways which makes me nervous. He will fall asleep fine but 20-30 minutes later is coughing and choking on his mucus when laid flat. He sleeps well during the day elevated in a boppy lounger but obviously I don't feel comfortable using that at night. Any advise on what else I could do?!? My husband and I are up all night trying to comfort him and don't know what else to do to help him sleep... He is normally such a good sleeper and is miserable right now 😞
