Baby movement or gas?

So I'm confused. The first time I felt my baby move, it was unexpected but I definitely knew it was her. And now I feel these little strong punches but I heard that they're supposed to feel like "butterflies" and I honestly don't think that's how it feels. Can anyone share their baby movement experiences? It would beHELPFUL

It definitely doesn't always feel like "butterflies" ,  although sometimes it does! But other times it will feel like little punches/kicks! , I am 33 weeks now .. My little girls punches and kicks are getting so fierce lol!! Like a little savage in there , I see a bunch of little body parts bulging out of my belly all the time lately!! It's awesome though :) . I wouldn't worry!! Best of luck with everything Hun:)

when I first starting feeling her it was that fluttery feeling. kinda like what you feel when you have a rush of adrenaline or when you're on a roller coaster. but it would be for no reason. then as she started to get a little bigger I started to feel little pokes from the inside which eventually turned into full blown kicks. maybe it's just me but even in the early stages I don't think baby movements feel like gas.

My earliest movements felt kind of like gas, or the feeling you get when your stomach grumbles, but it wasn't my stomach and it didn't make any noise.

I got mine confused with gas at 14-16 weeks but then it happened more regularly and I never really felt the 'flutters'. It always felt like gas until I knew it was baby moving.
