How long after a csection so I need to wait before ttc again? I am aiming for a vbac

My doctor told me 18 months.

I literally just asked my doctor this same question.  I was told it was recommended to wait at least 18-24 months of wanting to VBAC, however that is 18-24 months from delivery to delivery, not delivery to pregnancy.  That makes a HUGE difference. The DELIVERIES need to be 18 months apart.  So if your kiddo is at least 9 months old, that would fall into the recommended window to start trying  : )   As I understand it, every doctor is going to have a different set of preferences or requirements, and some will flat out refuse to allow VBAC at all.  Good luck Momma!!!

I had my baby in October with C Section (she was footling breech) and I'm due again this November 😊 My Dr. was too mad but she said she would've liked me to AT LEAST wait 6mths to a year. We wanted our kids close together though so..

I got pregnant 4 months after so 2nd will be 13 months when I am due. I've been told no chance at all of a vbac- but I also have other issues (hernias) so that might have something to do with it as was the reason I needed a section in the first place.

Finally came across this topic.  My doctor told me 3 months to wait.  If by chance we get pregnant before then, so be it!

I've had two c sections. My youngest is 9 months and my next c section will be in December of this year. They'll be 15 months apart. My dr never told me how long you need to wait.

My doctor said they can't do VBACS unless the pregnancy gap is at least 2 years.
