First period after miscarriage

Linda • Thu, May 19 • Tubal reversal in April 2015, miscarriage at 8w3d in April 2016, ectopic at 6w3d in October 2016. Still not giving up!!

I found out at 8w2d that my baby's heart had stopped beating a few days prior . I had a d&c the next day. It's been exactly 6 weeks and I just started my period yesterday . I'm cramping really bad and bleeding pretty heavy. This isn't normal for me. Has anyone else experienced this?
