Ever since we moved back to my husband's home town his mom is so smothering! She txts me everyday, tags me in stuff on Facebook, and acts as if she is the mother to our 5 yr old. Even goes as far as getting onto her when my husband and I are in the same room. for instance. We went to a friends baby shower. My daughter was changing into play clothes. I know where she's at, at all times. His mother comes up to me saying where is she. I ignore her. She looks at me again and said seriously where is she I don't see her. She does this all the time. So finally we sit and have a talk with her. It worked for 1 full day. We had a fun day at school for my daughter and this is something my husband and I wanted to do by ourselves. His mom invites herself to the function. I'm so pissed at this point bc she wasn't invited.

Idk what else to do obviously she isn't getting the fact that she is grandma not momma or daddy. She is crossing the line so many times. And now we have another little girl on the way which is a miracle bc it took us 4 yrs and a lot of doctors visit. I'm afraid she will be the same with this one to.
