Ibuprofen and heating pad and a nap in the middle of the day when possible! Midol does nothing for me anymore and ibuprofen helps my lower back pains, headaches and cramps all at once.

Ibuprofen is an NSAID so it's for inflammation. Tylenol is a pain reliever. I would take both of them at the same time. (It's completely fine and pharmacist approved by the way) if you get really bad cramps like I do, this will help you so much!!! Just make sure to eat something so your body can digest and absorb the medicine quickly.
