If you were to leave your birth control at a friends house ( to regulate your period not because you're having sex) and it was like six days until you got back. Would you have to take six pills to get to the day that you're at?

Answer

You need to read the pamphlet that came with your pills.

Generally you skip the rest of that pack and start a new one.

If you are having sex or have had sex, you aren't protected, and will need to wait 7-14 days (depending on what your pamphlet says) to be protected again.

Because you missed so many, you will likely get breakthrough bleeding and spotting. You now need to treat this like you are starting the pill all over again, and you may experience some side effects.
