Period?

My postpartum bleeding stopped about 2 weeks after giving birth. Today is 4 weeks exactly and I've started having some light bleeding and cramping. Could this be my period already? I'm breastfeeding but have been supplementing with formula 1-2 times a day so I expected it to come sooner than normal but really??

You are fine. It has just happened to me.. Lochia stopped 2 and a half weeks post partum and I got either bleeding or period 4weeks post partum.  I'm also BFing and supplementing with bottled BM and formula.
I rang my OB and consulted with her earlier this week. She said not to worry as it is just more bleeding.

My bleeding was only about 3 weeks , stopped , started , even on the bc pill I had break through bleeding due to exclusively breast feeding.  With bf our body's are more confused and trying to get back to normal , just give it some time.

With my second to youngest I BF and it can about two weeks after I stopped bleeding and was super heavy, worse than the after birth. My newborn is 4 weeks today and there is no sign of a period. I didn't know BF played a part in when my AF would start but I am formula feeding this time around and like I said I got nothing.

It's almost definitely more postpartum bleeding. It's common for it to come and go (and even feel very period-like). Have you been more active than usual? That often will trigger more bleeding.
