Depo and try to get pregnant

I had my last depo shot in August 2015

..I started it in may 2015 an had it once before that just after my 1st born in 2012....my husband and I are trying to get pregnant again. I have read all over the Internet that deep takes a long time to leave the body 6-12 months but I'm just wondering if those time lines apply for me as I wasn't on it as long... Every post o see online the women have been on it for 2+ years
