Flu concern

My husband has just told me he is pretty sure he has the flu and I think he'll be having it confirmed later today. We both had the flu shot this year. I'm worried I may contract it from him because of my lowered immune system in pregnancy, so I'm trying to prepare myself just in case. Anyone had the flu in their first trimester or pregnancy in general and how did you treat it? If I get it is that something I'd need to tell my doctor's office about?

I know flu season is still on but seriously who gets it in late May. Ugh, hopefully he's just overreacting and it's a bad cold. 😑
