Lightheadedness?

I woke up this morning feeling pretty dizzy. After eating, it seemed to subside a bit but now whenever I turn my head I get a little lightheaded. I'm waiting to get a response back from my doctor about it. Anyone else dealing with this?

Did you happen to wake up on your back? Sleeping/laying down on your back *may* reduce blood flow to the baby, or returning blood flow from your lower body to your heart. The weight of the baby + uterus compresses your blood vessels. If that happens you can experience nausea, dizziness, or lightheadedness. It's your body's way of trying to fix the situation and wake you up so you can move around and get the blood flowing again. Just make sure you don't get up too fast and make it worse! Get up slowly and maybe sit against your headboard or in a recliner.
