Early ultrasound??

I just found out I'm pregnant and made an appointment. But it's almost 3 weeks away. I had my blood drawn today, procedural becwuse of a miscarriage in March. How early will they do an ultrasound? How many weeks? I'd like to get one semi early to ease my mind a bit...

I recommend you to wait because under 8 weeks you might not see anything.

They can do one anytime after 6 weeks if youve had history of miscarrage or are high risk etc i would ask you can also just make up a laod of rubbish and go to the hospital and ask for one haha xx

Lauren is right. If they won't schedule you one. Just complain of really bad cramping at the ER and they will do one to check on baby. Try to wait it out to 6 weeks so you can get a heartbeat. There is nothing like hearing your baby's heartbeat to ease your mind.

Do you have any private ultrasound clinics in your area? If so, you can pay and have them do an ultrasound...most can't do vaginal but if your at least 4-5 weeks they should be able to see the sac in the uterus. Good luck!

My doctor refuses to see anyone before 8 weeks unless there are complications or high risk.
Also they don't confirm pregnancy.
You have to do it at a care clinic or your primary care doctor.
She's just way too busy.
I had to beg to get in at 8 1/2 almost 9 weeks.
