After 2 shots of methotrexate (one in each hip/cheek) i still ended up needing surgery and my left Fallopian tube removed. I met with my doctor today (the eldest doctor with the most tenure at the practice) who advised me to wait one full cycle to start trying again, despite being given methotrexate. He said that had I been on methotrexate for a long period of time (to treat cancer or arthritis) then he would advise me to wait the 3 months, but since I'm 27 and had a normal/ healthy blood panel come back, he said there is no evidence or reason to believe I would have baby with a birth defect if I started trying after my first cycle. I'm conflicted because the doctor I originally saw in the same practice had a different view and advised me to wait 3 full months. My heart says wait a cycle and try to make  a beautiful, healthy baby after one cycle, but my brain says "you could never live with your self if something happened". This is our second loss. We lost our first just 2 months prior. It was a miscarriage. With that being said, should I trust my doctor and go with it? Any experience or advise would be appreciated!! Thank you 💕
