Evening primerose oil ?? Anyone try it

Hey ladies Saturday I'll 38 weeks so I decided to try evening primerose oil tablets insert them vaginal any of y'all tried this to help soften cervix and help dilate

I'm 35 weeks and just started taking it orally. It makes my contractions more intense I feel like.

I used them with my youngest, they never actually helped with dilation, they did however help with the reduction of tearing. With my oldest I didn't use it he was 8lbs 6 ounces and I ended up with 9 stitches. When I used it with my youngest I didn't need stitches and he came out 9lbs 3 ounces.

I used it vaginally with my first and it did not cause labor. I was induced at 41 weeks.

I have been taking it orally and vaginally off and on (depends on if I remember) since 33 weeks. I am now 35 weeks and 50% effaced, but not dilated yet. I also have been taking red raspberry leaf capsules though. Not sure if it's helping but it can't hurt!

Im using Borage Gla Oil and evening primrose oil since 35 weeks.  I'm soft and dialted.. it doesnt induce you it helps soften !
