My son is 3 weeks old and EBF. recently he has been latching on eating then I notice he latches on just to suck my nipple to sooth himself. He wants to do this for hours. At first I thought he was still hungry but he doesn't swallow when he is soothing so I know it's not that. How early can I introduce a pacifier? I was told by a lacyation consultant not before 6 weeks but my breasts and nipples can't take much more of this.
