Hsg test???🤔

Guys have any of you done the hsg test and how was it ? And if your tubes were blocked what next step did you guys take? Please any input will help I have a hsg test and I'm freaking out 😔😭😳😳😦😦

It wasn't horrible, but not something I'd want to do again. The worst part for me was them "opening" me up. They say everyone is different. They were surprised how well I did compared to other women. I experienced very strong cramps during and after. They are super quick though and it's nice seeing the x-rays and having them explain everything. My tubes were completely clear so I'm not sure what would be the next step. They say after having it done is the best time to BD because your tubes are nice and open

Honestly it was not nearly as bad as I thought. Just a pinch. I was freaking out about the whole needle-in-vagina thing but the speculum hurt more. I brought my phone and listened to music during. That calmed me. It was relatively quick. Take a couple ibuprofen beforehand, it does cause cramping but I've had periods that were worse. Take a maxi pad just in case they don't have any, you'll leak dye/lube for a day or so. But they should give you pictures of your uterus as a souvenir.

My tubes weren't blocked but beforehand they told me a lot of times when they are, the dye test kind of flushes them out and unblocks them.
