water and home births .. ???

has any mommys on this app ever had an at home or a water birth at the hospital ? I'm contemplating having a water birth bc I am definitely a holistic person and would like to have my first baby in that experience. have you had one and would you recommend it or did everyone just go for the drugs ? lol

This will be my first however I am adamant on a home, water birth with my doula and my midwife. I couldn't imagine giving birth any other way than letting nature take its course unadulterated ☺ 🌸 no pain meds, no inducing, just natural labor!

As long as you're not high risk, there's absolutely nothing to be concerned about. Good luck!

thank you ladies .. I'm trying to see how much it would cost . in New York the doula comes free with insurance but in Florida my friends tell me it's pretty pricey .. I'm super scared but I want this moment , it looks so beautiful, you ladies are so strong for doing things this way 😊🙏🏾

I did natural birth with my first. Which my second i definitely wanted an epidural. It's hard to say everyone's pain thrush is different plus complications or any of that. Ive had a few friends that tried and couldn't handle the long laboring. Ive had another friend who has had 4 kids at home in water she loves the experience. Won't know until the big day how its going  to play, very unpredictable. I'm having my 3rd def doing epidural again. Went great last time and i was comfortable.  :) good luck hun!
