Recommendations?

My Ob wants me to slowly come off of Kolopin by my second trimester. I have sever anxiety and OCD I am currently on Zoloft, Kolopin and trazodone as needed. I want to come off Kolopin but I am not sure what a safe alternative is? Any help would be great!

My husband has had to take all of those at one point, and I would suggest talking to your psychiatrist as well as your ob.

Only your psychiatrist will know if it's actually safe for you to come completely off them. Not your ob. Both you and baby need to be healthy, including in your mind.

There are safe ssri's during pregnancy but I don't think there is a safe benzo.. I was on ativan and had to quit immediately.. I also quit my celexa.. benzos work on your cns and will do the same to the baby.  Def ask your doctor tho
