Clear blue opks ?

So when I got home from work this morning at 9 I took test it was a glashing smiley, my 8th flashing smiley btw. Ok fine no big deal. I just took another one at 330 and it's a blank circle(low fertility) is it really possible I missed my surge in 5 hours ?
