Question- too early for gender scan?

My doctor offers a gender scan at 16 weeks. So I have one scheduled for 15w 4 days... My usual monthly appointment...

My question is... Is that too early to find out gender accurately? I'm so afraid of a false reading! But I'm dying to know!

My doctor knew at my 12 week scan.

It may depend on your doctor. Mine does them at 18 weeks and he won't do it a day early.

My doctor has been saying boy since 12 weeks. At my 13 weeks scan I saw something and then today at 14 weeks 5 days it was confirmed and my husband finally got to see so no definitely not to early.

I just got girl confirmed at 15+4 in 3D and 4d

I don't think it's too early, but I am pushing mine out to about 19 weeks so it's much easier to see and clearer. But you definitely should be able to know at yours!

Nope! Found out at 15 weeks 2 days :)

Nope! I had a confirmed boy at 13w. Just depends on the doctor and whether or not baby wants to cooperate 😌

I found out at 12 weeks we are having a girl. Definitely able to find out at 15 weeks if the baby cooperates!

I found out at 14weeks exactly definitely a little girl i had a 4d gender scan :)
